Sumba Teak

Sarouk Fabric

Sumba Teak presents an airy botanical arrangement on a soft ivory ground, with branching charcoal stems carrying layers of pale grey, taupe and warm teak-brown leaves. The restrained contrast keeps the pattern light while giving the foliage enough definition to read clearly.

About this fabric

The colourway is led by a warm cream-ivory background, overlaid with softly mottled leaves in pale grey and sandy taupe. Teak-brown markings add warmth within the foliage, while the slender charcoal stems create a graphic framework across the surface. A fine, subtle vertical texture is visible in the ground, tempering the crispness of the branches with a gently tactile finish. Its medium visual scale and balanced neutral palette make it suitable for both upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Pair Sumba Teak with chalky whites, warm taupes and charcoal accents to echo its ivory ground and dark stems. It would bring a fresh, quietly tailored character to a reading chair, Roman blind or relaxed pair of curtains.

Use the soft ivory ground and muted teak-brown foliage to bring a light, tailored botanical note to upholstery or window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
