Cothay pink

Misc Fabriccothay/fa1/cor

Cothay Pink is a painterly scatter of pastel squares and washes over a light ground, with pinks leading the palette and small notes of peach, sage and blue. The overall effect is soft and airy rather than bold, with the pattern floating gently across the cloth.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this 230gsm fabric has enough body for soft furnishings and relaxed curtains while remaining versatile for blinds as well. The usable width is 140cm, with a full width of 145cm, and the design repeats every 46.6cm horizontally and 30.5cm vertically. Visually, the colourway reads as a delicate blush pink softened by off-white space, with translucent blocks of coral, lilac, mint and a little sky blue adding movement. The finish feels calm and slightly textural, and the Iron Safe specification makes it practical for well-kept home projects.

How to use it

Use it in a bright bedroom, garden room or sitting room where the blush ground can soften stronger colours around it. It works especially well with white-painted joinery, pale oak and muted green accents.

Pair with pale woods and chalky neutrals to keep the palette airy and fresh.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
