Ayaka Sheer Dandelion

Haiku Fabrics FabricSCF0069-01

Ayaka Sheer Dandelion combines a pale, translucent ground with angular grey-white forms and small mustard-yellow sprigs. In daylight, the sheer cloth reads light and softly layered, with the yellow accents giving the design its warmest notes.

About this fabric

At 104 gsm with 96 threads per cm, this fine fabric has the light, see-through quality visible in the curtain shown. Its ivory-white ground is overlaid with softly transparent grey shapes, while scattered mustard-yellow botanical marks add small points of colour. The 48.5 cm vertical and 99 cm horizontal repeats give the pattern a measured rhythm across the cloth rather than a dense, all-over impression. A 295 cm useable width makes it well suited to generous full-length drapery, and the standard length is 40 m.

How to use it

Hang Ayaka Sheer Dandelion at a bright window with a simple neutral lining or a second curtain layer, allowing the mustard sprigs to echo warm wood and wicker while the pale ground keeps the room open.

Use this fine, translucent colourway for bright full-length curtains where the mustard sprigs can catch the daylight.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
