Raft Stripe Print Pine

Oakham Fabrics FabricSCF0143-03

Raft Stripe Print Pine shows a pale, cool pine-green ground covered with closely spaced rows of linked, oval-like loops. Its softly contrasting green and light ground create a delicate geometric rhythm that reads almost as texture from a distance.

About this fabric

At 252 gsm and 140 cm usable width, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suitable for both upholstery and drapery applications. The small all-over pattern has a 19 cm vertical repeat and a 28 cm horizontal repeat, producing tightly ordered rows rather than broad, statement stripes. In this Pine colourway, the green is muted and slightly greyed, with a light ground that keeps the overall effect fresh rather than deep or saturated. The supplied construction specification records 38 threads per cm.

How to use it

Use the cool muted pine tone on an occasional chair, bench or pair of cushions where the fine pattern can add definition without dominating. It can also bring a soft green graphic layer to curtains in a light, neutral room.

A fine, closely spaced loop pattern in muted pine green brings gentle graphic texture to upholstery, cushions or curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Raft Stripe Print Pine without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
