Twycross Pine

Oakham Weaves FabricSCF0133-03

Twycross Pine combines muted pine-green linework with a warm cream ground in a densely arranged woven design. Small botanical, animal-like and geometric motifs give the surface an illustrated, pattern-rich character.

About this fabric

The 491 gsm construction gives this fabric a substantial, upholstery-friendly feel, while the visible weave softens the contrast between the pine green and cream. Its repeated field of leaves, stylised creatures and linear symbols reads as graphic rather than formal, with the low-key green bringing a cool, grounded depth to the colourway. The usable width is 141 cm, with a 35.5 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat for consistent placement across a piece. It is supplied in a standard 35 m length and has 91 threads per cm.

How to use it

Pair the muted pine ground with natural timber, warm ivory and understated brown leather, using the pattern on a statement armchair, bench or relaxed sofa. Its cream base keeps the dense motif fresh rather than heavy.

Use this weighty pine-and-cream weave on occasional chairs, sofas or footstools for a relaxed, illustrated look.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Twycross Pine without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
