About this colour
At #595A57, Scree is a soft, mineral grey with enough depth to hold its own without reading dark. It reflects only a modest amount of light, so it can feel snug in smaller spaces while still looking composed rather than heavy. In a north-facing room it will lean cooler and a little more slate-like, with its green-grey undertone showing through. In south-facing light it warms slightly and becomes more balanced, but it never turns pale or chalky. It works well beside natural oak, walnut, painted joinery and muted upholstery tones such as oatmeal, charcoal, moss and indigo.
How to use it
