Twycross Mist

Oakham Weaves FabricSCF0133-01

Twycross Mist is a cool, airy woven design with delicate blue-grey illustrations set across an ivory ground. The closely arranged rows bring together stylised animals, foliage and small linear motifs in a gently vintage, storybook-like composition.

About this fabric

The pale mist blue-grey drawing has a soft, slightly weathered appearance against the warm ivory background, giving the pattern depth without strong contrast. Repeated animals, leafy forms and structured geometric details create a small-scale, densely patterned surface that remains visually light. At 491gsm with 91 threads per centimetre, this is a substantial woven fabric suited to upholstery. Its 141cm usable width and equal 35.5cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats provide clear, regular placement across a piece.

How to use it

Use Twycross Mist on a reading chair, footstool or relaxed sofa where its cool blue-grey tone can sit alongside chalky whites, pale oak and soft grey-blue textiles. The ivory ground also makes it easy to pair with quieter plain fabrics without losing the pattern’s illustrated detail.

Use this cool, softly illustrated weave on relaxed upholstery with ivory, pale timber and muted blue-grey accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
