About this fabric

The pattern combines large daisy-like blooms, curling leaves, outlined seed pods and small geometric floral details in charcoal-ink blue against ivory. The contrast is strong but softened by the slightly greyed quality of the blue, giving the colourway depth without the severity of pure black. At 350 gsm with 107 threads per cm, this is a substantial mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery. The 55 cm vertical and 69 cm horizontal repeats allow the varied botanical motifs to read as a continuous, closely packed design.

How to use it

Use Kukkia Ink to add cool graphic definition to an ivory, stone or pale-grey room, particularly on a statement chair, bench or relaxed curtains. Echo the ink tone in painted wood or deep blue accents while keeping surrounding surfaces quiet so the varied botanical forms remain clear.

Use the cool ink-blue botanicals on ivory to bring graphic contrast to upholstery, cushions or full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
