Sorrel Coast Blue

Oakham Weaves FabricSCF0131-03

Sorrel Coast Blue combines soft, cool blue marks with a light ivory ground in a tightly ordered woven pattern. The close scale gives the swatch a fine dotted texture, while the pale contrast keeps the colourway fresh rather than intense.

About this fabric

In this colourway, closely spaced blue lozenge-like marks form vertical rows across an ivory ground, creating a delicate geometric rhythm with a subtly softened appearance. The woven surface gives the blue a lightly broken, tactile quality instead of the flat look of a solid colour. At 536gsm and 91 threads per cm, it has a substantial specification well suited to upholstery. The 135cm usable width is paired with a 19cm vertical repeat and 10.5cm horizontal repeat, allowing the small motif to be aligned neatly across cushions and panels.

How to use it

Use Sorrel Coast Blue on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its cool blue-and-ivory contrast can lighten a room while retaining a smart, structured feel. Pair it with chalky whites, pale timber and muted blue accents to echo the swatch’s gentle tonal range.

Use this substantial blue-and-ivory weave to bring a cool, neatly patterned finish to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
