About this fabric

This substantial woven fabric has a pale cream base overlaid with tiny barley-toned geometric marks, creating a neat, softly mottled surface. At 552gsm, it has the visual and physical weight expected of an upholstery cloth, while the 140cm useable width supports practical cutting for furniture projects. The pattern repeats every 1.5cm vertically and horizontally, so the small motif reads as an even woven texture across larger areas. With 62 threads per centimetre, the close construction gives the surface a compact, considered appearance.

How to use it

Use Ragdale Barley on a tailored armchair, dining seat or headboard where its warm cream-and-gold colouring can brighten the form without introducing a bold statement pattern. Pair it with natural timber, oatmeal linens and deeper caramel accents to draw out the barley tone.

A substantial small-scale weave for upholstered seating, headboards and occasional pieces.
