About this fabric

With a usable width of 139.5 cm and a weight of 374 gsm, Melton Stripe Sand has the substantial presence expected of an upholstery textile. The stripe arrangement has a 0 cm vertical repeat and a 6 cm horizontal repeat, keeping the linear design consistent across the roll. A 46 threads-per-centimetre construction gives the surface a fine, even texture, while the sand tone remains warm and understated rather than stark. The standard length is 35 m, making it practical for coordinated upholstery schemes requiring multiple cuts.

How to use it

Use this warm sand colourway on a structured armchair, dining seat or upholstered headboard, pairing it with chalky creams and pale blue-grey accents. The muted blush lines can be echoed through cushions or painted details without overpowering the narrow stripe.

The warm sand ground and fine vertical striping suit tailored upholstery, headboards and occasional chairs.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Melton Stripe Sand without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
