Forester Ochre

Sherwood FabricCCF0381-01

Forester Ochre brings a warm, illustrated garden scene to a soft grey ground, with ochre flower heads, coral blooms and curling charcoal branches. Small white deer sit among the foliage, giving the design a distinctive storybook character.

About this fabric

This 204 gsm woven fabric has a 137 cm usable width and a 40 m standard length, making it a practical mid-weight choice for upholstery or drapery. The design repeats every 41 cm vertically and 45.7 cm horizontally, framing ochre rosette-like flowers with grey leaves, coral berries and hanging bell-shaped blooms. Its warm ochre is softened by the cool grey background, while coral and white details add gentle contrast without making the colourway feel overly bright. The visible weave gives the pale ground a subtle textile texture beneath the finely drawn botanical outlines.

How to use it

Use Forester Ochre on a reading chair, headboard or relaxed curtain where its warm ochre flowers can sit alongside grey-painted walls and natural wood. Pick out the coral accents sparingly in cushions or lampshades for a layered, collected look.

Pair the warm ochre and coral details with natural timber, soft grey upholstery and aged brass accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
