About this fabric

The plum ground reads as a cool, saturated purple with a softly textured woven surface that catches the light without becoming glossy. Symmetrical flower heads in pink, rose, cream and berry tones sit among olive-green leaves, curling stems, pale berries and hanging bell-shaped blooms. At 204gsm with a 137cm usable width, this fabric has a versatile mid-weight suitable for upholstery and drapery. Its substantial 41cm vertical by 45.7cm horizontal repeat makes the botanical arrangement a prominent feature when pattern-matched, while the standard length is 40m.

How to use it

Use Forester Plum on a statement armchair, dining seat or full-length curtain where its deep purple ground can anchor a room. Echo the olive leaves in painted wood or cushions, then pick out the pink and cream flowers with smaller accent textiles.

Use the deep plum ground to bring depth to an eclectic sitting room, or pair it with olive and soft pink accents for a layered botanical scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
