About this fabric

At 224gsm, this mid-weight fabric has the substance to work across upholstery and drapery. Broad damson-plum and ochre bands are separated by warm cream grounds, with narrow teal stripes and dotted edging adding crisp contrast. The damson reads rich rather than bright, with the woven texture gently breaking up its depth as the light moves across the surface. Its useable width is 137cm, with a 34.3cm horizontal repeat and no vertical repeat.

How to use it

Use Luella Damson on a tailored armchair or ottoman where the plum stripe can act as the room’s deeper accent, then echo its ochre and teal details in cushions or painted joinery. Hung as curtains, the vertical layout will give a room a clear, architectural rhythm without losing the warmth of the cream ground.
