Highgrove Damask Silver Green

Highgrove by Sanderson Fabrics FabricSAF0459-01

Highgrove Damask Silver Green shows a soft sage ground lifted by a pale ivory damask pattern. The repeating urns, birds and scrolling motifs give the fabric a formal, heritage feel with a fresh, airy edge.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric has a substantial handle at 380 gsm, making it well suited to upholstery, and its 143 cm usable width allows the large-scale design to sit comfortably across wider pieces. The pattern repeat is 62.5 cm vertically and 71.5 cm horizontally, so the arrangement of urns, birds and floral swags reads as a generous, deliberate damask rather than a tight all-over. In this colourway the ground is a muted silver-green with a cool sage cast, while the motif is worked in a soft ivory that stands out clearly without feeling harsh. The finish looks clean and crisp rather than glossy, which keeps the design elegant and readable across the surface.

How to use it

Use this shade on a settee, footstool or statement armchair where the pale damask can brighten the room without losing its classical character. It pairs especially well with chalky whites, weathered wood and restrained greens.

A refined sage ground with crisp ivory patterning suits classical schemes and statement seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
