Sarawak celadon

Classic Collection Fabric

Sarawak Celadon pairs a trailing botanical motif with a soft, warm neutral ground. The celadon leaves and stems read as cool and quietly faded, giving the design an elegant, lived-in character.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a large-scale botanical pattern with curling leaves, slender stems and small floral sprays drawn in muted celadon teal. The ground has a pale beige-pink warmth that softens the design and keeps the overall effect calm rather than sharp. Because no performance features were supplied for this fabric, it should be specified on the basis of its visual character alone: decorative, versatile and suited to schemes that want pattern without strong contrast. The matte-looking surface tone helps the celadon blend gently into the ground, so the motif feels airy even at full scale.

How to use it

Use Sarawak Celadon on curtains, cushions or an occasional chair where its cool teal pattern can sit against natural linen, oak and pale plaster. It works especially well in rooms that need pattern with a restrained, heritage feel.

A calm celadon leaf design that lifts neutral schemes without feeling too bright.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
