About this fabric

The close woven texture is visibly irregular, with small looped and slub-like flecks creating a tactile surface rather than a printed motif. Its pumice colouring sits between warm grey and subdued taupe, giving the fabric a softened, mineral character. Light catches the raised weave along the folds, while the recesses read as slightly deeper grey. The substantial-looking cloth is well suited to upholstery where its relaxed texture can remain visible.

How to use it

Use Andes Pumice on a generously shaped armchair, sofa or headboard, pairing its muted grey-taupe tone with chalky whites, weathered timber and soft mushroom accents. Keep surrounding patterns restrained so the close nubby weave provides the room’s quiet surface interest.

A softly textured grey-taupe weave with a substantial, tactile appearance for relaxed upholstery schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
