Antique-Linen Quill

Antique-Linen Fabric

Antique-Linen Quill has a softly warm greige tone that shifts gently between taupe, stone and pale linen across the folded surface. Its fine, even weave gives the cloth a quiet textural presence without a visible motif.

About this fabric

The close plain weave is clearly visible in the flatter areas of the photograph, while the gathered folds show how softly this fabric moves and catches the light. Its pale greige colouring feels warmer than a cool grey, with subtle beige depth in the shadows and a light stone quality across the surface. The cloth reads as fine and fluid, making it particularly suited to drapery rather than heavy upholstery. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair this warm pale greige with chalky whites, natural oak and muted taupes for a calm, linen-led room, or use it to soften darker timber and charcoal accents without adding strong colour.

Use this softly warm greige as understated window dressing or a calm textural layer in relaxed interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
