Arlington Hazelwood

Arlington Fabric

Arlington Hazelwood has a softly weathered olive-taupe colour, balancing hazel warmth with a restrained grey cast. Its close, pebbled weave gives the surface a subtly mottled appearance rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric

Viewed closely, the fabric is formed by a dense small-scale weave with tiny light and dark flecks that create gentle visual depth. The Hazelwood colour sits between muted olive, hazel and taupe, reading earthy and composed rather than strongly green or brown. Its compact surface has a dry, tactile character with very little sheen, making the texture more noticeable than any pattern. No composition, width, rub-test or performance-feature data has been supplied for this exact colourway.

How to use it

Use Arlington Hazelwood on a structured armchair, dining chair or sofa where its quiet olive-taupe tone can sit comfortably with walnut, dark oak, limestone and brushed brass. The subtle mottling also helps soften a room built around plain neutral walls without introducing a pronounced motif.

Its muted olive-taupe depth works well on tailored upholstery alongside warm woods, stone and aged metals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
