About this fabric

The fabric has a dense-looking, even weave with fine vertical tonal striations visible across the charcoal surface. Small flecks of lighter grey catch between the darker threads, preventing the colour from reading as flat black. Its restrained pattern and cool, smoky depth give upholstery a tailored, architectural appearance. No performance features or further specification data are supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Arlington Charcoal on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its cool, near-black grey can anchor lighter walls, pale timber and brushed metal. Keep surrounding textures tactile but simple so the subtle vertical weave remains visible.

A deep charcoal ground with subtle woven variation for tailored upholstery and dark, understated interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
