About this fabric

The plain surface has no visible motif, allowing the fine nap and changing light across the folds to create its depth. Wisp reads as a substantial upholstery cloth in this image, with a soft, velvety appearance rather than a crisp or highly reflective finish. No composition, width, rub test or performance features have been supplied for this colourway, so its suitability should be confirmed against the intended upholstery application.

How to use it

Use Wisp on a generously shaped sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its soft greige-taupe tone can sit comfortably with warm timber, chalky stone and deeper taupe accents. Its subdued colour is especially effective in rooms seeking a calm, tonal scheme rather than a high-contrast statement.

A muted greige-taupe with a softly plush surface, bringing quiet depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
