Cambridge Fabric

Cambridge Saffron is shown here as a warm, earthy saffron-brown cloth with a subtle horizontal ribbed surface. Its soft folds reveal a fluid handle and gentle tonal variation as the light moves across the fabric.

About this fabric

The close-up shows a plain woven surface built from very fine horizontal ribs rather than a printed motif. Its ochre and brown tones give the colourway a muted, grounded warmth, while the darker fold valleys add depth without making the shade feel heavy. The fabric gathers into supple, flowing pleats, making its drapery character particularly clear. No composition, width, rub test or performance specification has been supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Pair Cambridge Saffron with warm timber, aged brass and cream upholstery for an enveloping scheme, or use it as relaxed full-length curtains to bring its earthy golden-brown tone into the room.

Use its warm saffron-brown tone and fluid folds for softly gathered curtains or relaxed window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
