Cambridge Fabric

Cambridge Chalk is a very pale ivory textile with a softly warm, chalky cast. Its fine horizontal weave remains visible across the gently gathered surface, adding quiet texture without a pattern.

About this fabric

The close weave creates a delicate, lightly ridged grain that gives this otherwise plain colourway subtle depth. Its chalk ivory tone reads softer and warmer than a stark white, while the folds catch the light with a gentle tonal variation. The fabric falls into fluid, relaxed gathers in the swatch, making it best suited to drapery. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Cambridge Chalk at full length in a naturally lit room where its warm ivory tone can soften pale walls and timber finishes. Layer it with deeper taupe or natural textures to bring out the fine woven surface without competing with its quiet colour.

A pale chalk ivory with a fine horizontal weave and fluid drape, ideal for calm, softly layered window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
