Casual Ecru
Casual Fabric
Casual Ecru is a soft, pale ecru textile with a fine woven surface and a gently warm cast. The folded swatch shows a quiet, even texture that becomes more dimensional where the fabric turns into shadow.

About this fabric
The colour sits between soft cream and light oatmeal, giving the swatch a warmer, less stark appearance than a clean white. A close, fine weave is visible across the surface, with tiny tonal flecks adding restrained texture without forming a pattern. The cloth folds readily in the photograph, while its opaque woven face retains enough visual substance for both upholstery and drapery. In changing light, the ecru tone shifts gently from luminous ivory on the raised folds to a deeper greige-cream in the shaded areas.
How to use it
Use Casual Ecru to bring warmth to pale rooms without introducing a strong colour statement. It would work well on relaxed seating or full-length curtains, paired with oatmeal, chalk, natural timber and soft taupe accents.
A quietly textured warm neutral for relaxed upholstery, curtains and layered natural schemes.

Pairs well with
Casual Ecru is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
