Chatsworth Cerulean

Chatsworth Fabric

Chatsworth Cerulean has a pale cream woven ground scattered with softly drawn botanical motifs in cerulean blue, blue-grey, olive and muted mustard. The folded swatch shows how its cool, lightly weathered palette shifts between shadowed sage-grey and brighter ivory surfaces.

About this fabric

A fine woven texture gives the fabric’s pale ground a tactile, subtly linen-like appearance, while the botanical forms remain softened rather than sharply outlined. Cerulean blue and blue-grey leaves and flowers provide the coolest notes, balanced by small olive and muted mustard accents that add gentle warmth. In the deeper folds, the cream base reads as sage-grey and taupe, giving the colourway more depth than its light surface initially suggests. The structured cloth and visible body make it well suited to upholstery applications.

How to use it

Pair Chatsworth Cerulean with chalky walls, pale oak and blue-grey upholstery for a calm, collected scheme. Olive or muted mustard cushions can draw out the warmer botanical accents without overpowering its cool cream base.

Use this softly weathered cream and blue colourway to bring a quietly refined botanical accent to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
