About this fabric

The colour sits between pale cream and muted butter, avoiding the brightness of a clean white. A close plain weave creates a lightly granular surface, with tiny darker threads adding quiet definition across the cloth. The fabric forms supple folds in the swatch image, while the even face keeps the overall look calm and uncluttered. Its warm cast makes this colourway especially suited to interiors that need softness without a yellow or strongly saturated finish.

How to use it

Use Casual Butter to soften a light, neutral room as relaxed curtains, blinds or upholstery, pairing its warm cream tone with natural timber, chalky whites and muted taupes. The subtle fleck helps it sit comfortably beside tactile linens, woven baskets and understated pattern.

A softly flecked butter-cream weave that brings gentle warmth to upholstery and drapery schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
