About this fabric

The colour sits between warm grey and muted brown, giving the cloth a soft fungi-like tone rather than a pronounced beige or stone. A delicate crosshatch weave creates subtle tonal variation, while the closely spaced threads keep the surface understated and refined. In the swatch image, the fabric falls into fluid folds with gentle highlights on the ridges and deeper taupe shadows in the creases. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair this mushroom taupe with chalky whites, warm greys and weathered timber for a calm, layered room. Its fluid handle is particularly suited to full-length curtains or softly gathered blinds where the crosshatch texture can catch the light.

Use this softly muted mushroom taupe for fluid curtains, relaxed blinds or understated tonal schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
