About this fabric

The image shows a densely woven, plain fabric in a deep cassis shade, sitting between burgundy and wine red. Fine surface variation gives the cloth a tactile, subtly grainy appearance rather than a flat block of colour. The folded swatch reveals darker shadows and warmer red highlights, adding depth without a visible motif or pattern. Its substantial-looking weave and controlled drape make it well suited to tailored upholstery where a saturated, dramatic colour is wanted.

How to use it

Pair this dark cassis red with warm timber, aged brass and muted neutrals for a cocooning room, or use it as a strong accent against charcoal and ink-blue upholstery. The berry depth works especially well on structured chairs, benches and statement sofas.

Use this deep cassis tone to bring depth to tailored seating, dining chairs or a darker, layered scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
