Parker Pillarbox
Parker Fabric
Parker Pillarbox has a rich pillarbox-red tone with a fine, tactile weave that becomes especially expressive across the softly gathered folds shown here. The colour reads deep and saturated rather than muted, with subtle tonal variation where the fabric catches the light.

About this fabric
The visible surface is formed by a closely spaced, pebbled weave, giving the cloth a gently granular texture rather than a smooth or velvety finish. Its strong red colour shifts from brighter scarlet highlights on the raised folds to deeper burgundy-red shadowing in the creases. The dense-looking construction and substantial visual body make this a natural upholstery-led choice, particularly where a plain fabric needs texture as well as colour. With no performance features or further specification data supplied, its character is best judged from this tactile woven surface and saturated colourway.
How to use it
Use Parker Pillarbox on a statement chair, footstool or tailored sofa where its saturated red can anchor a room. Balance the warmth and intensity with chalky neutrals, dark timber or aged brass, allowing the small-scale weave to add depth without introducing another pattern.
Use this deep pillarbox red as a confident upholstery accent, pairing its tactile weave with quieter neutral surroundings.

Pairs well with
Parker Pillarbox is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
