Pradha Fabric

Pradha Chilli is a deep, warm red-brown upholstery fabric with the saturated character of dried chilli and dark earthen tones. Its softly raised surface catches the light across the draped folds, revealing subtle changes from russet to near-burgundy.

About this fabric

The close-up shows a dense, velvety-looking pile with fine horizontal ribbing that gives the plain surface a gentle tactile pattern. Its chilli red colour is strongly warmed by brown undertones, reading darker and more grounded in the shaded creases. Across the raised folds, the pile shifts from muted russet highlights to deep wine-brown shadows, giving the fabric notable depth without a printed motif.

How to use it

Bring Pradha Chilli into a room as a dramatic sofa, occasional chair or upholstered headboard, pairing its warm red-brown tone with aged timber, walnut and softly muted neutrals. The dark pile also suits intimate, cocooning schemes where directional shading becomes part of the design.

Use this rich, dark chilli shade on a statement chair, sofa or headboard where its softly lustrous pile can add depth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
