About this fabric

The colour reads as a warm, earthy brown, with lighter caramel highlights appearing where the ridged surface catches the light. Fine, closely spaced ribs run across the cloth, giving the plain ground a tactile, corded character without a visible printed motif. Its substantial-looking surface holds sculptural folds while retaining a soft, gently luminous finish. No composition, width, usage or rub-test specification has been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Pair this cocoa-brown colourway with dark timber, aged brass and creamy upholstery for a warm, enveloping scheme; its fine ribbing adds depth without introducing a contrasting pattern.

Use this richly warm brown on an armchair, headboard or footstool where its ribbed surface can catch the light.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
