Orient Willow

Orient Fabric

Orient Willow pairs a warm ivory-cream ground with softly mottled willow-green loops. The narrow, ribbed-looking edging gives each curling form a gently irregular character.

About this fabric

Across the pale ground, elongated loops and rounded paisley-like turns create a meandering all-over layout rather than a strict repeat. The willow tone is muted and slightly greyed, reading calm and softly shaded rather than bright green. The cloth folds into slim rounded rolls in the photograph, while its fine, even ground weave remains visible between motifs. No further performance or construction specification is supplied for this fabric, so the image is the basis for assessing its light, flexible appearance.

How to use it

Use Orient Willow for relaxed curtains, Roman blinds or softly gathered panels where the warm cream background can brighten the room without losing the depth of the willow-green pattern. Pair it with chalky neutrals, pale timber and other softly weathered greens.

Use the pale cream ground and muted willow-green pattern to bring a quiet, softly botanical feel to curtains or blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
