Renoir Ochre

Renoir Fabric

Renoir Ochre pairs a painterly floral with a softly aged ochre ground that feels warm rather than bright. The brushy blooms and muted foliage sit comfortably across the surface, giving the design an elegant, slightly vintage character.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, this fabric is specified for both curtaining and upholstery, with a 140 cm width and a 60,000+ Martindale rub test. The large-scale floral pattern is softened by a warm ochre background, while the petals and leaves bring in dusty teal, olive, charcoal and faded ivory tones. In the image, the colourway reads as mellow and sun-baked, with the deeper brushstrokes adding contrast without making the overall effect feel harsh. The result is a versatile decorative cloth that can take on a tailored upholstered piece or hang with character at the window.

How to use it

Use Renoir Ochre on an occasional chair or a statement pair of curtains where the warm ground can lift the room without overpowering it. It works especially well with aged brass, oak and muted teal accents.

The warm ochre notes give this painterly floral a refined, softly aged feel.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Renoir Ochre without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
