About this fabric

The ochre-gold ground reads warm and earthy, while repeated paisleys, curling leaves and scrolling stems create a distinctly ornate botanical pattern. Olive and charcoal outlines sharpen the motifs, with small yellow-green accents and a fine stippled texture adding depth across the surface. Specified at 425 gsm with 47 threads per centimetre, this velvet has the substantial presence expected of an upholstery cloth. Its 65 cm vertical repeat and 26 cm horizontal repeat keep the medium-scale arrangement clearly visible across a chair, headboard or upholstered panel.

How to use it

Pair this warm Tigers Eye colourway with dark timber, aged brass and olive or charcoal accents. Its antique ochre tone works especially well on a statement armchair, ottoman or dining seat where the paisley repeat can be appreciated.
