About this fabric

The fine cloth gathers into soft, fluid pleats, giving the swatch a supple appearance suited to drapery. Its slate-grey colour sits between charcoal and mid grey, reading darker where the folds overlap and lighter across the open surface. A restrained surface texture and low, directional sheen catch the light without creating a pronounced pattern. The overall effect is smooth, quiet and distinctly cool-toned.

How to use it

Use Solaire Slate for full-length curtains or softly gathered blinds where its cool charcoal-grey depth can add calm definition. Pair it with pale stone, warm white or similarly restrained grey furnishings.

Its cool slate-grey tone and fluid fall make it well suited to elegant curtains and relaxed gathered treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
