About this fabric

The colour reads as a subdued blend of grey and green, with darker threads giving the surface a gently mottled depth rather than a flat, uniform finish. Small tonal flecks run through the weave, creating the characteristic visual texture of tweed without a separate pattern or motif. The swatch gathers into broad, soft folds, showing a substantial-looking cloth with a naturally relaxed handle. In changing areas of light, the sea-glass tone shifts between soft green-grey and deeper charcoal-tinged shadow.

How to use it

Use this cool sea-glass green on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its flecked texture can balance pale walls and warm timber. Add rust, tobacco or off-white accents to bring contrast to the greyed green tone.

Pair the cool sea-glass green with warm timber, natural linen and softly aged leather.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
