About this fabric

The colour reads as a saturated indigo, close to navy but with a clearer blue cast in the lighter areas of the weave. A subtle crosshatch structure gives the otherwise plain surface quiet variation rather than a printed motif. The folded swatch shows how the shade deepens in shadow and catches a restrained blue-grey lift along the raised ridges. No further composition, width, rub-test or performance specification was supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this cool indigo as a grounding blue on a tailored chair, sofa or full-length curtain, pairing it with pale stone, chalky grey or warm timber to soften its depth. Its finely textured surface also works well where a plain fabric needs more visual interest without introducing a pattern.

A deep, cool indigo with a subtle woven texture that brings quiet depth to upholstery and drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
