About this fabric

The surface is visibly woven with a fine, close grain rather than a printed motif, giving the plain colour subtle depth. Its taupe-brown tone sits between warm grey and soft brown, reading earthy and restrained rather than strongly saturated. The folded swatch shows a supple, fluid handle, with shaded ridges contrasting against the lighter face of the cloth. No composition, width, rub test or performance features have been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Umbria Thyme to add a grounded taupe-brown layer to a calm sitting room, pairing it with chalky neutrals, weathered timber and softly contrasting grey-browns. Its fluid folds make it equally convincing as relaxed upholstery or full-length drapery.
