About this fabric

The fabric has a smooth, fine-looking face rather than a visible woven motif, with light sliding gently across the creases. In the darker folds it reads near charcoal, while the raised areas reveal a warmer brown undertone. The fluid handle visible in the photograph makes this colourway particularly convincing for softly gathered or full-length drapery. No composition, width or performance specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair the deep espresso tone with warm timber, aged brass and softly contrasting ivory to keep a room atmospheric without making it feel stark. Its subdued sheen will add gentle movement to full-height curtains.

Use this deep espresso-brown cloth for softly draped curtains where its subtle sheen can catch the light.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
