Wainscott Fabric

Wainscott Saltwater pairs a pale ivory ground with a gently weathered botanical arrangement in sage, sea green and muted blue. The softly folding cloth gives the print a relaxed, fluid presence.

About this fabric

Loose leafy stems, curling tendrils and varied flower heads fill the surface, with larger blue-green blooms balanced by small blue blossoms. The colourway reads cool and softened rather than bright: blue-grey petals sit against olive and sage foliage, while the ivory ground keeps the overall impression light. Fine surface texture is visible through the folds, which catch the light subtly and reinforce the fabric’s fluid drape.

How to use it

Use Saltwater for relaxed curtains or a Roman blind in a room with chalky ivory walls, pale timber and blue-green accents. Its muted botanical tones also suit a calm coastal or country scheme without becoming overtly nautical.

A softly drawn botanical print that brings cool sage and faded blue detail to an ivory-toned room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
