About this fabric

The ground is a muted taupe-beige with a warm, earthy cast, while the floral sprays bring together dusty rose, plum, lilac, creamy yellow and subdued olive leaves. Rather than appearing sharply printed, the clustered blooms sit into the textured woven surface, creating gentle variation across the design. The restrained, softened palette makes Teastain feel relaxed and collected, with the darker berry flowers adding depth against the lighter ground. This fabric is listed with a stain-resistant performance feature, making it a practical choice for upholstery.

How to use it

Use Teastain on a statement armchair, occasional sofa or dining seat where its warm taupe ground can sit comfortably with oak, painted cabinetry and aged metal. Echo the faded berry and olive in cushions or trims for a layered, relaxed finish.

Use this warm taupe floral with natural woods, aged brass and muted plum or olive accents for a softly collected scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
