About this fabric
The swatch shows a plain brown cloth with a suede-like, nap-textured surface rather than a visible motif or repeat. Subtle shifts between chestnut, umber and warmer copper-brown tones appear where the nap changes direction, giving the surface gentle depth. The fabric falls into broad, soft folds in the photograph, while its muted sheen highlights the raised texture without looking glossy. No composition, width or rub-test figure is supplied for this colourway, so the description is based on the visible cloth.
How to use it
Use Yellowstone Sorrel on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard where its warm russet depth can balance cream, tobacco, walnut and aged-brass accents. Its softly changing surface will add tactile richness to rooms with layered, earthy finishes.
Use this warm russet-brown cloth to bring depth and softly tactile character to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with
Yellowstone Sorrel is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
