05 Bay

Aquarius Fabric05

05 Bay has a warm, layered appearance, with a pale beige ground crossed by irregular horizontal bands of terracotta, muted rose, ochre and olive. Its surface reads as a tactile, broken stripe rather than a precise linear pattern.

About this fabric

The fabric shows a close, uneven horizontal weave, with short raised-looking lines and softly interrupted blocks that give the design visual depth. Beige and cream threads keep the overall colour light, while terracotta and dusty rose accents add warmth and the ochre passages bring a sunlit note. The heavier-looking woven texture makes this colourway well suited to upholstery. The supplied specification lists no performance features or further technical data for this fabric.

How to use it

Use 05 Bay on an occasional chair, headboard or relaxed sofa where its warm beige base can sit with timber, ivory and natural brown tones. Pick up the terracotta and ochre threads with cushions or ceramics rather than introducing a strong, competing colour.

A warm, textural stripe effect for relaxed upholstery with earthy contrast.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
