About this fabric

The fabric’s compact weave is visibly nubby, with small interlocking ridges creating a tactile, upholstery-weight appearance. Cool grey forms the dominant tone, while off-white and darker graphite threads break up the surface with subtle contrast. The uneven yarn texture catches light in tiny highlights, preventing the granite shade from reading as flat or uniform. This is a quietly textured colourway whose depth comes from the weave rather than a printed motif.

How to use it

Use 05 Granite on a sofa, armchair or headboard where its cool stone tone can support charcoal, chalk white and other restrained grey accents. Pair it with smooth timber or brushed metal to contrast with the fabric’s irregular tactile surface.

Use this cool granite-grey weave to bring quiet texture and tonal depth to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with

05 Granite is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
