07 Mushroom

Fuzzy Fabric07

07 Mushroom reads as a warm, pale taupe across the swatch, with softly darker bands where the fuzzy nap changes direction. The close surface texture gives the otherwise plain colour a gently mottled, tactile appearance.

About this fabric

The swatch shows a softly plush, closely textured surface in a warm mushroom taupe, rather than a cool grey or saturated brown. Fine directional shifts in the pile create muted bands of light and shadow across the otherwise plain face. This changing nap gives the colour gentle depth while keeping its overall impression quiet and neutral. No performance features are listed in the supplied specification for this colourway.

How to use it

Use 07 Mushroom on an upholstered armchair, sofa or headboard where its warm taupe tone can soften stronger wood and stone finishes. Its low-contrast fuzzy texture also suits calm, layered neutral schemes.

A softly textured mushroom taupe for relaxed upholstery, where its fuzzy nap adds subtle depth.

Pairs well with

07 Mushroom is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
