01 Graphite
Rafael Fabric01
Rafael 01 Graphite brings a cool, layered grey tone to the Rafael design, with flowing striations that shift subtly across the surface. The close tonal contrast gives the pattern depth without introducing a second colour.

About this fabric
The graphite ground reads as a deep, mineral grey, while the raised, feather-like lines catch the light in slightly lighter silver-grey passages. Its dense organic pattern sweeps across the face in interlocking curves, creating movement while retaining a restrained monochrome effect. The surface has a softly reflective, textured appearance rather than a flat printed finish. No performance features are noted for this fabric, so its visible texture and colour are the defining qualities for upholstery selection.
How to use it
Pair this cool graphite colourway with pale stone, chalk or warm timber to soften its depth, or use it on a statement chair where the raised flowing pattern can be seen clearly.
Use its cool graphite depth to anchor contemporary upholstery and balance lighter, softer furnishings.
Pairs well with
01 Graphite is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
