About this fabric

The colour reads as a light chalk cream with a restrained, slightly warm neutral depth, making the swatch feel softer than a stark white. A dense, irregular micro-weave gives the plain surface gentle visual movement as light catches the raised threads. At 640gsm and 49 threads per cm, it has the substantial woven presence expected of an upholstery cloth. The fabric is 140cm wide, with no vertical or horizontal pattern repeat, so the calm surface remains continuous across upholstered pieces.

How to use it

Use this soft chalk cream on an upholstered sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its fine textured grain can replace pattern without making the room feel bare. Pair it with tonal ivory layers for a light scheme, or introduce contrast through walnut, charcoal and aged brass.

Use this soft chalk cream as a calm upholstery neutral with darker timber, brushed metal or warm natural flooring.
