About this fabric

This substantial plain is supplied at 840gsm and has a useable width of 134cm, making its weight and dense construction particularly well suited to upholstery. Its warm taupe tone sits between soft grey and light brown, with gentle tonal variation across the woven surface rather than a printed motif. The fabric has zero vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, so the textured plain can be positioned freely across a design. At 45 threads per centimetre, the close view shows a compact, even weave with pronounced tactile relief.

How to use it

Use this warm taupe on a sofa, headboard or dining chair where its rounded boucle texture can add depth without introducing a strong pattern. Pair it with chalky neutrals, smoked oak and darker brown accents to bring out its softly earthy undertone.
