About this fabric

This plain textile is woven in a near-blackened lazuli blue, with gentle textural shifts that keep the dark colour from appearing completely flat. The 486gsm weight gives it a substantial, upholstery-oriented handle, while the visible surface catches light softly rather than showing a pronounced motif. It has a 140cm usable width and a 0cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, making the cloth visually continuous across larger upholstered areas. The construction is listed at 85 threads per cm, supporting the swatch’s compact, dense appearance.

How to use it

Use Curzon Lazuli on a statement armchair, sofa or dining seat where its cool, saturated navy can anchor a room. Balance the depth with chalky walls, pale oak or brushed metal, and introduce texture through boucle or natural linen cushions.
