About this fabric

This Zoffany Quartz Velvets colourway is a plain velvet with no vertical or horizontal pattern repeat, allowing its quiet texture to remain the focus. At 420gsm, it has the substantial visual presence expected of a furnishing velvet and is particularly well suited to upholstery. The 140cm usable width supports generous cutting, while the 71 threads per centimetre contribute to the fabric’s finely even surface. Its warm grey-beige tone avoids starkness, reading softly earthy rather than cool or silvered.

How to use it

Use the parchment taupe on a sofa, armchair or headboard where its warm greige depth can soften darker timber and contrast with chalky whites. Keep surrounding fabrics tonal to highlight the subtle nap and uninterrupted plain surface.
